श्री अभिभावकज्यू, विद्यालय व्यवस्थापन समिति, पूर्व शिक्षक र विद्यार्थीहरु तथा सम्पूर्ण सरोकारवालाहरूमा हार्दिक नमस्कार।
जिरी माध्यमिक विद्यालय सन् १९६८ (वि.सं. २०१७ साल)] मा स्थापना भएको दोलखा जिल्ला कै पुरानो र अग्रणी शैक्षिक संस्था हो। आफ्नो दीर्घ शैक्षिक यात्राको क्रममा यस विद्यालयले दोलखा, रामेछाप, सोलुखुम्बु लगायतका जिल्लाका शिक्षाका भोका नागरिकहरुमा शैक्षिक चेतना अभिवृद्धि गर्दै राष्ट्रिय र अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय जगतमा प्रतिस्पर्धा गर्न सक्ने दक्ष र जिम्मेवार नागरिक उत्पादन गर्न सफल भएको गौरवशाली इतिहास बोकेको यस क्षेत्रको एक अग्रणी ऐतिहासिक विद्यालय हो ।
विद्यालयले शैक्षिक गुणस्तर, अनुशासन, व्यावहारिक ज्ञान र जीवन मूल्यहरूको समन्वयका साथ विद्यार्थीहरूलाई सर्वाङ्गीण रुपमा सक्षम बनाउन निरन्तर प्रयत्न गर्दै आएको छ। आधुनिक प्रविधि–मैत्री शिक्षण पद्धति, नियमित मूल्याङ्कन प्रणाली, र पाठ्यक्रमगत क्रियाकलापहरूको सुदृढ संयोजनमार्फत बालमैत्री, समावेशी र समतामा अधारित शिक्षण सिकाइ पद्धतिलाई अनुसरण गर्दै दक्ष शिक्षकहरुबाट गुणस्तरीय शिक्षा प्रदान गरिरहेको छ।
वि सं २०७२ सालको विनाशकारी भूकम्पबाट भौतिक संरचना नष्ट भएपश्चात लामो प्रतीक्षापछि सन् २०२३ मार्चमा निर्माण प्रारम्भ भई २०२५ जुलाईमा निर्माण सम्पन्न भएको चिनियाँ सरकारको अनुदान सहयोगमा निर्मित भौतिक पूर्वाधारको हस्तान्तरण कार्य सम्पन्न भएको छ । विद्यालयको अत्याधुनिक यस भौतिक पूर्वाधार निर्माणमा सहयोग, समन्वय र सहजीकरण गरी दिने चीन सरकार, चिनियाँ राजदुतावास, नेपाल सरकार शिक्षा विज्ञान प्रविधि मन्त्रालय, शिक्षा तथा मानव स्रोत विकास केन्द्र, शिक्षा विकास तथा समन्वय इकाइ, दोलखा, जिरी नगरपालिका, निर्माण कम्पनी लगायत सबै सबैप्रति हार्दिक आभार प्रकट गर्दछु ।
विद्यालयको यस भौतिक पूर्वाधार प्राप्तिसँगै हामी माझ चुनौती र अवसर दुवै थपिएको छ । तर पनि यस विद्यालयका सचेत अभिभावकहरुऽ पूर्व विद्यार्थीहरु, सकरात्मक भावका साथ आर्थिक, भौतिक, नैतिक सहयोग गर्नुहुने सहयोगी दाताहरुको साथ रहँदा लक्ष्यमा पुग्न सकिने पूर्ण विश्वास रहेको छ। हालसम्म अभिभावक शिक्षक विद्यार्थीहरूको सामूहिक प्रयासले विद्यालयले निरन्तर प्रगति हासिल गर्दै आएको छ। आधुनिक सूचना प्रविधि, पाठ्यक्रमगत नवप्रवर्तन र विद्यार्थी केन्द्रित क्रियाकलापहरूको सन्तुलित संयोजनले हाम्रो विद्यालयलाई एक नमूना शैक्षिक संस्था बनाउने दिशामा अघि बढाएको छ। हामी विश्वास गर्छौं—शिक्षा जीवन परिवर्तन गर्ने शक्ति हो। यस विद्यालयमा हाम्रा विद्यार्थीहरूले आधुनिक प्रविधि र प्रतिस्पर्धामा समायानुकुल समायोजन हुन सकिने ज्ञानसँगै मानवता, सहकार्य र अनुशासनका मूल्यहरू पनि आत्मसात् गर्न सकून् भन्ने हाम्रो प्रमुख लक्ष्य हो ।
अन्त्यमा, विद्यालयका दूरद्रष्टा संस्थापकहरु, पूर्व शिक्षक तथा विद्यार्थीहरु, अभिभावक, विद्यालय व्यवस्थापन समितिलगायत सरोकारवाला सबैको निरन्तर साथ, सहयोग र सकरात्मक सुझावको हार्दिकका साथ अपेक्षा राख्दछु ।
हामी सबैको साझा प्रयासले यस विद्यालयलाई अझ उत्कृष्ट विद्यालयका स्थापित गरी जिरीलाई एक शैक्षिक हवको रुपमा विकास गर्न सकियोस् भन्ने कामना गर्दछु।

Warm Greetings.
Established in 1968 (2017 B.S.), Jiri Secondary School is the oldest and a leading educational institution in the Dolakha district. Throughout its long educational journey, this school has carried a glorious history of fostering educational awareness among knowledge-seeking citizens across districts like Dolakha, Ramechhap, and Solukhumbu. It stands as a pioneering and historic institution in this region, successfully producing skilled and responsible citizens capable of competing on both national and international stages.
The school has been continuously striving for the holistic development of students by harmonizing academic quality, discipline, practical knowledge, and core life values. Through a strong combination of modern technology-friendly teaching methods, regular evaluation systems, and co-curricular activities, the school provides quality education delivered by qualified teachers, following a child-friendly, inclusive, and equity-based teaching-learning approach.
Following the destruction of our physical infrastructure during the devastating earthquake of 2015 (2072 B.S.), and after a long wait, the construction of our new physical infrastructure—funded by the grant assistance of the Chinese Government—commenced in March 2023 and was completed in July 2025. The official handover ceremony of this infrastructure has now been concluded. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Government of China, the Chinese Embassy, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (Government of Nepal), the Education and Human Resource Development Center, the Education Development and Coordination Unit (Dolakha), Jiri Municipality, the construction company, and everyone else who supported, coordinated, and facilitated the completion of this state-of-the-art infrastructure.
With the acquisition of this modern physical infrastructure, both challenges and opportunities have multiplied before us. Nevertheless, we are fully confident that we can reach our goals with the unwavering support of our conscious parents, alumni, and generous donors who provide financial, material, and moral support with a positive outlook. To date, the school has achieved continuous progress through the collective efforts of parents, teachers, and students. The balanced integration of modern information technology, curricular innovation, and student-centered activities has propelled our school forward on its path to becoming a model educational institution. We believe that education is the power that transforms lives. Our primary goal is to ensure that our students not only acquire modern technology and contemporary competitive knowledge but also internalize the values of humanity, cooperation, and discipline.
In conclusion, I sincerely look forward to the continuous support, cooperation, and constructive suggestions from our visionary founders, former teachers and students, parents, the School Management Committee, and all stakeholders. May our collective efforts establish this school as an even more excellent institution and successfully develop Jiri into an educational hub.
